    Hello.

I accidentally deleted a partition on my second 2 TB hdd. After a quick search on the net Disk Drill came up. Even though there's an option for searching lost partitions, it couldn't find any. So i decided to give deep scan a try. It's been scanning since yesterday, for more than 20 hours. The percentage has been 93.95 for the past 8 hours(or maybe more, that's when i woke up), and there's no hdd activity at the moment. But the program itself is using one of the CPU's core by 100%, so i guess it's doing something.

Question 1: I know full scan can take a very long time, but is it ok if the percentage reaches to 93 in around 7 hours and then for 13 hours it doesn't move at all?

Question 2: Now i have 2 partitions at the moment, and a 300 gb of free space which is the lost partition. Sadly, when i preview the files on the scan window, i can see documents that are in the other 2 existing partitions. Isn't there any way i can make Disk Drill to ignore the 2 partitions and just recover data from the free space?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Q1: It's possible if your disk has bad blocks in the ending sections.
Q2: Obviously you selected to recover data from the whole disk, not only unpartitioned space. Check it here.
